Most of the topics covered were just the tip of the iceberg. And why is it always the rich who prepare? It makes us feel like we have little chance of surviving in Hawaii if we don’t know someone who’s rich… or has military training. I personally know people who prepare who aren’t rich… but they have good plans. No one knows how they’ll react until they get there. There was good information about gathering food and several ideas. And of course it would probably be better if the story wasn’t set in California. While the landscape is beautiful, the Appalachian Mountains might be a better option.
