Ignoring her training and ethics, she finds herself making huge changes in people’s lives – including her own. "The Shrinking" share the key moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who did the best impression of Harrison Ford. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to get Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein originally wanted a «Harrison Ford Type» and was made to listen to people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should take it to Ford first because they thought he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which attracted interest from other major actors.
And the rest of the series is great
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the part. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he cheered nonetheless.. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). Jason Segel was perfectly cast for this script.
And Jessica is perfect
He has that weird, goofy confident energy that this role needs. His humor is just right for the dialogue. This is the new way of sitcoms. There are no real punch lines, just likable personalities with a hint of quirk and family circumstances that are a little out of the ordinary but still relatable.
It’s just impossible
Of course, Jimmy’s behavior as a therapist is completely absurd. You will immediately lose your license. But we allow metaphorical situations in the drama. And in this scenario, we sense a strong sense of purpose in the decisions.
Other reviewers have apparently struggled
We have to give the writers credit and try to get the point across. For me, it’s simple and fun.
